Management Team
Dato' Seri Haji Talaat Haji Husain
CHAIRMAN
He holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Political Science) from University of Science Malaysia, a Masters in Professional Studies (International Planning) from Cornell University, USA and attended Advance Management Programs at London Business School and Harvard Business School.
He served as Mayor of Ipoh City for two terms before becoming the Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Prior to his retirement, he held the position of Secretary General of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs.
Whilst in the Government Service, he held the positions of Chairman of Companies Commission of Malaysia, Board Member of Malaysian Intellectual Property Corporation, Malaysian Communication and Multi-Media Corporation and Sepang International Circuit.
Dr. Mohamad Salmi Mohd Sohod
CORPORATE ADVISOR
He holds a PhD in Strategic Management from Bradford University with more than 20 years experience as an academician in areas of entrepreneurship and best practice management, e-learning and quality management.
He previously hold various managerial positions including the Directorship of Research & Consultancy Division, the Director of Entrepreneurial Development Institute in University Utara Malaysia (UUM), Director of Malaysian Multimedia Entrepreneurs Corporation (MMEC), Director of Malaysia Techno-Entrepreneurs Corporation (Mtec) and Associate Dean of eTQM College in Dubai, U.A.E.
His corporate achievements include the successful development of UNITAR from conceptualization to business commencement, as the university’s Professor and Deputy Vice Chancellor. He currently sits as Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia’s Board of Trustee, University Utara Malaysia’s Board of Director, and the Managing Director of In-Fusion Solutions Sdn. Bhd.
Izzmandi Chua Izally
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Izzmandi holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor Degree in Building. He has more than 25 years’ experience in project management and building maintenance. He also attended six months Plant Management training Siam Cement and another six months at Krupp Polysius training center Dusseldorf Germany.
He was previously with Yayasan Albukhary Group managing the development of Albukhary Complex which consisted of Mosque, Orphanage & Old Folk Home, School, Hospital, Hotel and Hostel. He was also involved in the planning, design and construction of the RM600 million Albukhary International University which can accommodate 3000 students.
Mohd Hakimi Ramli
OPERATION DIRECTOR
A graduate from Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) with more than 25 years of experience from retailing, marketing operations to project execution and development. He served Al Bukhary Group of companies for 17 years as General Manager and represented many companies namely Yayasan AlBukhary, Totalap Sdn Bhd, Bukhary Sdn Bhd and many others.
He played a key role in the management and development planning thus execution for projects namely Masjid Al Bukhary, Masjid Senai, Al Bukhary Complex in Kedah, Muzium Kesenian Islam I & II, Bangunan Tambahan IJN, Masjid Negara, Komplek Budi Penyayang, Kepala Batas, Al Bukhary International University (AIU). He was also responsible developing new cafe concept along PLUS highway namely Kiosk Cafe, Shalala Cafe and Highway Mart.
He finally left the group to focus on construction business after completing his final tasks managing and structuring the sugar business operation worth approximately RM 1.6 billion per annum.
